Pilot installation for Hasegawa Valkyries
The UN Spacy series of seated pilots have been designed with flexibility in mind. This is so you can use them in both the amazing Hasegawa series of Valkyries, and various other resin kits. To accommodate for all the size variations of the 1:72 scale, you will have to make some minor adjustments before your pilot fits into your Valkyrie, or other mecha. Here's a guide on how to fit them specifically into Hasegawa Valkyries. Other 1:72 kits may need further adjustment, or on other cases, none at all.
1 | Out of the box, the pilot has a pouring stub on the base.

2 | If you try and place the pilot in immediately it will not fit, as it will be too tall, and the canopy will not sit flush.

3 | To adjust the vertical height of the pilot, we need some medium-grit sandpaper. Firmly grasping the pilots, we will rub the base along the sandpaper, removing the pour stub, and a bit more. Always sand a little, then test. You can always remove more, rather than try and add more back because you were impatient!

4 | Once you finish, the base should looks something like this.

5 | Test frequently during the process by fitting into the Hasegawa Valkyrie cockpit.

6 | Once the canopy goes on snugly, you're finished fitting - and now its ready for paint.
